With each Flat Aggie report, I’ll be putting together a list additional resources, websites, recipes, books, and activities.  Use this with Flat Aggie’s reports from a Manitoba beef farm and a Kansas grain and cattle farm.  Soybean & Cow Farmer Math brings these Agmazing Adventures to life!

Burger Snacks from IL Ag in the Classroom

Materials Needed:

  • 2 vanilla wafers
  • 1 chocolate cookie
  • Red icing
  • Yellow icing
  • Green coconut

The vanilla wafers represent the hamburger buns. The chocolate cookie represents the hamburger. The red icing represents ketchup. The yellow icing represents mustard. The green coconut represents lettuce. To put your burger together, simply put a little icing on each vanilla wafer and place the chocolate cookie in the middle. You can also add coconut with green food coloring on it to represent lettuce.
